There are twenty-two herbs covered in this reference manual. They include the twenty two herbs most commonly used in cooking and baking. Each herb has a corresponding page with a picture of the herb. You simply click on the name of an herb in the Herbal Reference Chart to view a picture of a particular herb.

Why Herbs?

Herbs such as rosemary, parsley, tarragon, basil, thyme and dill are plants that contain phytochemicals. They are currently being studied for cancer-fighting potential similar to ingredients found in fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

This handy herbal reference e-book will give you a run-down on the most commonly used herbs and their nutritional and health benefits.

In addition, some herbs may contain antioxidants. Oregano and rosemary are herbs known to be high in antioxidants.
