Paranoiac 1963 Oliver Reed Drama Horror
Stars of Paranoiac: Janette Scott, Oliver Reed, Sheila Burrell
Storyline: Eleven years earlier, the wealthy Ashby family was shattered when Mr. and Mrs. Ashby died in an airplane crash and their grieving son Tony committed suicide. All that remains of the family is cruel Simon, an alcoholic in desperate need of funds; his mentally fragile sister Eleanor; and his protective aunt Harriet.
Simon is just weeks away from receiving his inheritance, but there is a hitch in his plans when the long believed dead Tony Ashby suddenly arrives.
The plot in Paranoiac twists and re-twists itself over and over: Oliver Reed’s brother is dead; no, he’s alive, his sister saw him; no, his sister is crazy; no, Reed is trying to to make people think his sister is crazy so he can steal her inheritance; no… and that’s just the first 10 minutes or so of this ingenious thriller. Highly recommended.

Note to Buyers
Mayda Mart movies consist of mostly American films made before 1964. These carefully researched films have been considered to be in the public domain in the USA for many years. Why is a film in the public domain? Briefly, films fall into the public domain because they were never properly registered with the Library of Congress in the first place or were not renewed as required by the prevailing copyright laws at the time. This movie has been researched and found to be in the public domain in the U.S. because the copyright has either expired and is no longer valid or the film was not copyrighted at all. Researched first with the United States Copyright Office Public Catalog as well as other public domain resources.
