Ramrod DVD 1947 Joel McCrea Veronica Lake Western Romance Black & White NR

Stars in Ramrod: Joel McCrea, Veronica Lake, Don DeFore

A cattle-vs.-sheep-man feud loses Connie Dickason her fiance, but gains her his ranch, which she determines to run alone in opposition to Frank Ivey, “boss” of the valley, whom her father Ben wanted her to marry. She hires recovering alcoholic Dave Nash as foreman and a crew of Ivey’s enemies. Ivey fights back with violence and destruction, but Dave is determined to counter him legally… a feeling not shared by his associates. Connie’s boast that, as a woman, she doesn’t need guns proves justified, but plenty of gunplay results.

Note to Buyers

Mayda Mart movies consist of mostly American films made before 1964. These carefully researched films have been considered to be in the public domain in the USA for many years. Why is a film in the public domain? Briefly, films fall into the public domain because they were never properly registered with the Library of Congress in the first place or were not renewed as required by the prevailing copyright laws at the time. This movie has been researched and found to be in the public domain in the U.S. because the copyright has either expired and is no longer valid or the film was not copyrighted at all. Researched first with the United States Copyright Office Public Catalog as well as other public domain resources.

Thank you for visiting Mayda Mart.
