Three Blind Mice DVD 1938 David Niven Loretta Young Romantic Comedy
Stars of Three Blind Mice: Loretta Young, Joel McCrea, David Niven
Three Blind Mice is a 1938 romantic comedy film starring Loretta Young, Joel McCrea and David Niven. An old classic movie for retro-movie night viewing.
Three Kansas sisters, owners of a chicken farm, dream of romantic life as rich ladies. As a play between sisters, Pamela (Loretta Young) plays the rich lady. Moira (Marjorie Weaver) plays her personal maid. Elizabeth (Pauline Moore) plays her personal secretary. When they inherit $5000 they decide to head for California in search of a rich husband for one of them.
The roles are left how they are used in playing at home. Soon Pamela has not only one but two dating gentlemen. And in no time she is in trouble which one to marry. But Van Dam Smith (Joel McCrea) is the one she loves, yet he’s the one without money. His grandfather keeps it and spends it on Zoo’s. So, the sisters decide she has to marry rich Steve Harrington (David Niven). But, does Steve even love her – or does his heart belong to someone else?
