Tumbleweed 1953 Audie Murphy Western
Stars: Audie Murphy, Lori Nelson, Chill Wills
Tumbleweed Story Line. Jim Harvey is hired to guard a small wagon train making its way west. Indians unexpectedly attack the wagon train. Harvey knew the chief having once saved his sons life. Now, he hopes to persuade the chief to call off the attack so he leaves the train to negotiate. This was a bad move! The Indians capture Harvey and wipe out the rest of the train with the exception of two sisters.
Harvey escapes from the Indians. When he shows up in town he is arrested and nearly hanged as a deserter. He escapes again but the sheriff and his posse manage to catch him. Again they are attacked by Indians. This time the Indians are defeated and Aguila, captured and dying, reveals the identity of the white man who engineered the initial attack on the wagon train. At the same time, the perpetrator rides up behind them.
